Stand at the foot of the world's highest mountain on a fully guided Everest Base Camp Trek through the breathtaking Khumbu region, where unforgettable Himalayan landscapes and authentic Sherpa culture await.
The EBC trail is a complete Himalayan journey - Base Camp, Kala Patthar, Namche Bazaar, Tengboche Monastery, Ama Dablam and Sherpa village life all in one route.
Reaching Everest Base Camp isn't about conquering a mountain - it's about completing one of the world's most rewarding trekking journeys. Every suspension bridge crossed, every Sherpa village visited and every step through the Khumbu Valley becomes part of an unforgettable Himalayan experience.
Standing at Base Camp is not about the destination alone. It is about the journey, 12 days of walking through one of the most spectacular mountain landscapes on earth, through Sherpa villages, Buddhist monasteries, suspension bridges and high altitude forests.
The experience of standing at the foot of the world's highest mountain surrounded by the Khumbu glacier, prayer flags and the roar of the icefall above - is unlike anything else in trekking or travel.
Kala Patthar (5,545m) is the most famous viewpoint on the Everest trek - and the highest point reached on this package.
From Kala Patthar the full south face of Everest is visible without obstruction - the summit pyramid, the Hillary Step, the South Col and the Lhotse face all clearly defined on a clear day.
The sunrise from Kala Patthar - Everest turning golden in the first light while the Khumbu valley lies in shadow below - is one of the most extraordinary natural spectacles in the world.
Namche Bazaar sits at 3,440m in a natural amphitheatre of mountains - the commercial and cultural heart of the Khumbu region.
The Saturday market, the Sherpa Museum, the Everest view hotels and the first clear view of Everest from the Namche hill above the town - these make Namche a genuine destination within the destination.
Two nights here for acclimatization is one of the most enjoyable sections of the trek.
Tengboche Monastery at 3,860m is the most important monastery in the Khumbu region - set against a backdrop of Ama Dablam (6,812m), Everest and Lhotse.
The monastery is a working religious institution. Morning and evening puja ceremonies are open to trekkers - the sound of horns and drums echoing through the mountain silence is one of the defining sounds of the EBC trek.
Ama Dablam (6,812m) is considered by many mountaineers to be the most beautiful mountain in the world. Its distinctive double-summit profile is visible from almost every point on the trek above Namche.
It follows you up the valley - always present, always changing in light and angle. Most EBC trekkers end up with more photographs of Ama Dablam than of Everest itself.
The Khumbu region is the homeland of the Sherpa people, arguably the most accomplished mountain community in human history.
Passing through villages of Monjo, Namche, Phortse, Tengboche, Pangboche, Dingboche and Lobuche - the texture of Sherpa life, Buddhist culture and Himalayan agriculture is present at every stage.
Meeting local Sherpa families, staying in traditional tea houses and experiencing centuries-old Buddhist traditions give the Everest Base Camp Trek a cultural depth that is just as memorable as the mountains themselves.
Prior trekking at altitude is strongly recommended. EBC is strenuous - physical preparation essential.
Arguably the finest mountain photography landscape on earth - Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Pumori all in one valley.
EBC is on more bucket lists than almost any other experience in the world. This is the trek that delivers on the expectation.
We operate private guided EBC treks. Your schedule, your pace, your experience.

Common questions about fitness, insurance, documents, itinerary, Lukla flights and prior trekking experience.
You need to be in good cardiovascular fitness. Daily training for 6-8 weeks before departure - hiking, running or stair climbing is strongly recommended. The trek itself takes care of altitude fitness through acclimatization days. Poor cardiovascular fitness is the most common reason trekkers struggle or fail to complete EBC.

Tenzing-Hillary Airport at Lukla has a short runway that drops steeply at one end. The flight from Kathmandu takes approximately 35-40 minutes. The approach and landing are dramatic - many travelers call it one of the most thrilling flying experiences of their lives. Flights are frequently delayed by weather. Early morning slots have the best success rates.
Technically possible but not advisable. EBC reaches 5,545m - prior experience at altitude above 3,500m gives you a realistic understanding of how your body responds. We strongly recommend completing a shorter high altitude trek before attempting EBC.
The Thukla Memorial is a collection of cairns and memorial plaques on the ridge above Thukla Pass dedicated to climbers who lost their lives on Everest and other Himalayan peaks. Passing through it is one of the most moving moments of the entire trek - a reminder of the mountain's power and the courage of those who attempt its summit.
